THE PROJECT

Intelligent MDX develops and manufactures molecular diagnostic tests to maximize patient impact globally.

When looking to outfit their new office space, they turned to AIS for an open environment furniture solution.

For the IntelligentMDx headquarters, an open environment was needed to suit their company’s culture. It was decided to outfit their new offices with AIS’ award-winning benching line, Oxygen. This benching/desking system met the technology needs they were seeking while maintaining an open, collaborative environment.

In the evaluation period, many major manufacturers were considered. AIS was awarded the contract for 3 main factors: overall system flexibility, quick lead-time and the right price point.

Cable management within the benching system was also a very important decision factor. Oxygen rose to the challenge with it’s double tiered cable management wire basket. Oxygen benching was utilized in the collaborative areas where workers required easy and quick access to electrical and data. For workers requiring a more private, concealed space, Matrix was used to construct the right configuration.
