In 2009, Doug founded FurnitureSpeak® to provide a deeper level of assistance to companies navigating business and facility challenges. As one of the most experienced dealers in the region, Doug’s in-depth understanding of client challenges leads the FurnitureSpeak® team in creating exceptional workplace environments to continually exceed clients’ expectations with each project.

For 30 years prior, Doug worked with Corporate Express Business Interiors. He held positions of Senior Vice President of Sales, Vice President of Federal Government Sales, Federal Government Sales Manager, Furniture Sales Consultant and Assistant Manager of Government Contracts. Doug was intrinsic in restructuring the $50 million contract furniture business unit of Corporate Express, Mid-Atlantic. Under his leadership, Doug fostered a team environment that placed customer service as top priority, leading his business unit to become one of the premier dealerships in the eastern United States.

In addition to Doug’s years of comprehensive experience with the contract furniture industry, he also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Maryland, College Park.
